The fast migration to an ITIL^® 4 Certification with appropriate prior knowledge was originally only to be possible until the end of 2022. The idea behind this: Anyone who was already certified as an ITIL v3 Expert or had accumulated at least 17 credits according to this certification scheme could quickly and easily switch to ITIL 4. With the discontinuation of ITIL 4 transition training and exams on January 1, 2023, this shortcut was supposed to close forever. But fortunately for you, you still have a few weeks to make your ITIL 4 transition!

ITIL 4 Transition: The demand was immense

According to the rights holder PeopleCert, the ITIL 4 transition was to end in 2022. Among SERVIEW customers, however, the demand for the ITIL 4 Transition remained unbroken. We organized additional ITIL trainings in the week before Christmas, but the demand to complete the ITIL 4 Transition in the last days of December hardly decreased.

In addition, loyal customers keep asking us whether a postponement into the new year is possible. For a long time, we had to deny this, because the policy of the rights holder stated that the ITIL 4 Transition could no longer be offered after December 31, 2022. We were very sorry to have to cancel this customer. After all, the ITIL 4 Transition is the fastest and most cost-effective way to move up from ITIL Expert to ITIL 4 Managing Professional. This makes the training a shortcut for one's expertise and door opener for career opportunities, as Scheme for ITIL 4 Certification shows.

But with all the requests for an extension, we could no longer accept the situation. Because for our customers, no path is too far and no challenge too difficult. So our goal was: make the ITIL 4 Transition 2023 possible.

The ITIL 4 transition 2023

For an extension of the ITIL 4 migration in 2023, we contacted PeopleCert. At the end of intensive negotiations, we got the result we had been longing for: You can still migrate to ITIL 4 in 2023!

However, you don't have much time left. The extension of the ITIL 4 Transition to upgrade to the new version is only valid until March 31, 2023, which means that you must complete the five-day ITIL 4 Transition and pass the exam by this date. If you manage to do this, you can expect to be certified as an ITIL 4 Managing Professional. It pays to be quick. If you miss this fast-track transition to ITIL 4, you will have to complete a total of five training modules and five exams instead of one ITIL training and one exam.
