2023 we go full throttle
The new year has just begun, but we're getting started right away. The entire SERVIEW team is already in the middle of preparations for highly exciting projects and events. This much we can reveal: we have big plans for 2023!
In May we are hosting THE event highlight of the year: Finally, the Best Management Practice Congress is back! At this largest IT industry gathering in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, we'll let the asphalt smoke for five days, because under the motto "The Fast and the Reliable IT", all participants at the BMPK will not only experience dynamic professional exchange, but also sparkling networking parties. Whether in the training, in the workshop, at the Lightning Talk or exclusive keynotes, in the Highspeed Briefing or in the gigantic trade exhibition - we are ready to inspire you in this breathtaking race for the IT of tomorrow!
The next big live event will follow in the fall: At the ITSM TOOL-MEETUP 23 in Frankfurt and Munich, you will experience exciting speed dating for your business. Make a note of the 28.09. and 17.10. dates.
The first quarter of the year, however, will see the start of training for the development and management of enterprise architectures. It helps organizations define business goals and align them with software development. Soon you will find corresponding training courses firmly in our course program.
And one more grandiose piece of news at the end: We are becoming partners with Atlassian and ServiceNow. From now on, we will be working closely with these major software companies - both global leaders in IT service management solutions. Because together we are even stronger!
Press release: A real milestone
So now the time has come: We have closed the last gap. For more than 20 years, we have given everything to anchor service management holistically in organizations. We have trained people, described processes, and assisted in tool selection. There is only one point that we have not covered so far: the implementation of the appropriate software.
Why? Because we doubted. We were hesitant, had concerns, "Can we independently certify tools and vendors if we only implement certain solutions ourselves?" These concerns held us back. But this year, we dared to do it. We found the courage and clearly say, "Yes!"
Yes, we will continue to provide incorruptible and neutral support for software selection in the future, as we have always done. And if the analysis shows that the solution from Atlassian, ServiceNow or another tool that we can implement is an ideal fit for the customer, then we will pave the way for it.
With this fearless decision, we are responding to our customers' desire to take the final step toward holistic, all-around implementation consulting - your desire. We achieve this by including the two largest and most widespread ITSM solutions from ServiceNow and Atlassian in our implementation portfolio.
Ideally, we would like to be able to bring any software certified by CERTIFIEDTOOL directly to your company if required. This is still a big dream - but we will continuously work on gaining more manufacturers as partners, building up even more know-how and thus continuing to offer you exactly the service you expect from a visionary and strategic management consultancy. Atlassian Presents: High Velocity ITSM
Rocket-fast service management was the big topic at the Atlassian High Velocity ITSM event on December 7 and 8 - and we were there! After all, we will be working much more closely with the established software company in the future and are aiming for a lasting partnership. In the Cineworld cinema of the O2 Arena in London, we had an intensive exchange with the experts from Atlassian.
During the two days, we learned more about the JIRA Service Management roadmap and experienced the atmosphere of a real rock concert of the ITSM industry live. Fittingly, the final highlight was an interview with music legend will.i.am as a special guest. Our conclusion: A dynamic event with plenty of expert input, which we will gladly attend again at any time. We are already looking forward to regular exchanges!

ITIL v3 is extended: Three months delay for your changeover
ITIL v3 was actually supposed to be retired on December 31. However, customers have repeatedly asked us to postpone their ITIL 4 transition until the beginning of 2023. We passed this request on to rights holder PeopleCert - and were able to successfully convince the company to extend the deadline! The new deadline is now 31.03.2023. No question, the era of ITIL v3 is over, but you have three additional months to master the transition to the current version 4.
