During the SERVIEW Certified-Agile-Coach training, you will put together your personal toolbox full of best practices, methods and techniques in just a few days. In the Certified Agile Coach training, you expand your knowledge and obtain the official Agile Coach certification. Here you will get new impulses, increase your wealth of experience step by step and consolidate what you have learned in practical exercises.
For the official Agile Coach training you need some previous experience with Scrum or other agile approaches. Therefore, a completed Agile Foundation or ICO Scrum Foundation, Scrum Master, Product Owner or SAFe certification are mandatory for the Agile Coach training. Otherwise, you will not be able to take the Agile Coach training. If you already have one or more of the above certifications, first complete Module 1 of the Agile Coach training. Then complete your path with Module 2.
That's because you'll experience SERVIEW Certified-Agile Coach training in two high-energy, back-to-back sessions. Each module lasts three days. The best thing about it: No duplicate content. No one wants to be constantly told what they already know. In order to competently lead the people in your organization and provide them with ever new inspiration, you need more than just theoretical knowledge. In Module 1 of the Certified Agile Coach training, you therefore plunge straight into practice. This is where you start your journey to becoming an Agile Coach. Please note that you can only start the training if you have at least one of the required certifications (Agile Foundation, Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe® 5 Agilist, ICO Scrum Foundation).

In Module 1 of the Certified Agile Coach training, you will acquire all the details on coaching, solution-oriented conflict resolution and facilitation. Module 1 of the Certified Agile Coach training enables you to reach new heights with methods and practices. You will delve deeply into the complex challenges of your role and deal with typical challenges in a practical way.
THE RIGHT TOOL FOR EVERY SITUATION
Advanced techniques for collaboration, facilitation and empirical management to maximize value: In this section of the Certified Agile Coach training, you will acquire a wide range of knowledge to master even complex situations within your organization. For this purpose, you will have numerous methods and best practices at your disposal, which you will make intensive use of in the workshop.
This prepares you to broaden your perspective as a Certified Agile Coach to focus on other agile elements in addition to your team and its interfaces, as well as the management of the organization. For this purpose, you will experience numerous practical tasks in the safe-to-fail environment of your workshop group.
FAIL FAST - AND FAIL SAFE!
Agility requires a positive and open error culture. In this training, we go one step further: Breakdowns are explicitly encouraged. Try out everything you have learned immediately in interactive tasks and use the chance to make mistakes! This is how you build your skills based on the "inspect & adapt" principle. You observe yourself and your teammates when they fail, work out suggestions for improvement and draw valuable lessons from them, just like in a real Scrum team.

In your role as a Certified Agile Coach, you have excellent knowledge of all topics related to agility and can successfully accompany your organization on its agile journey. However, your core tasks do not only include supporting companies, but also their further development and the development of the people in them.
As a Certified Agile Coach, you are more than a consultant. You are a mentor. You are a trainer. You are a coach. In your role, you empower and inspire others to live the Agile mindset every day and to help drive change in the organization. Therefore, please note that you can only take module 2 of the Agile Coach training if you have already successfully completed the exam from module 1.
IGNITE THE AGILE BEACON OF LIGHT
In Module 2 of the Certified Agile Coach training, you will master the supreme discipline: agile coaching itself. Equipped with comprehensive fundamental knowledge and a wealth of useful best practices, you will develop your personal, reality-tested toolbox for practice in this interactive workshop. This will enable you to inspire organizations for the agile mindset in the future and guide them in their transformation.
In gripping simulations and team tasks, you will experience first-hand what agile coaching really means. Certified Agile Coach in Action!
In the Certified Agile Coaching Workshop, you will experience the entire agile transformation by working through various tasks together using a realistic practical scenario. Short theory impulses from our experienced coaches provide the appropriate framework for the exercises, while the compact manual equips you with suggestions for self and group reflection.
In small teams, you design roadmaps, resolve conflicts and coach team members. In reflection rounds, you scrutinize what you have experienced, identify opportunities for improvement, and record your experiences in the manual. In this way, you interactively build your skills in a safe-to-fail environment and piece by piece fill your individual toolbox with personal best practices that you can take directly back to your organization.

Frequently asked questions about the Certified Agile Coach
Understanding the agile basics and specifics is of great importance for your career as a Certified Agile Coach. And not only because the roles of Scrum Master and Product Owner, for example, illustrate the sense and functioning of self-learning, self-organized teams - in your role as Scrum Master or Product Owner, you quite naturally acquire a broad basic knowledge of Scrum and agility.
The Scrum Master is certainly the role model for the Agile Coach and both indeed have a lot in common: Facilitation, i.e. improving communication and decision making as well as removing obstacles, outstanding facilitation skills and enabling self-organization are just a few points in which both roles are similar. However, as a Certified Agile Coach, you act on a broader level. While the Scrum Master works in the Scrum environment and primarily for his team, as an Agile Coach you act everywhere in the organization where agile practices are applied.
An important step on the way to becoming a Certified Agile Coach is therefore for you to be a good Scrum Master - and to later transfer the experience gained in this role to the "big picture". For this reason, we teach you this in terms of content exactly our "Scrum kompakt" course. Through this, you will gain practical knowledge about Scrum, the different artifacts and sprint events, team development, facilitation and moderation.
As the driving force behind agile transformation, you as a Certified Agile Coach have a lot in common with the product owner of a Scrum team. This is because you develop a vision for your organization, just as a product owner does for his product. The focus of your activities is always the customer, in whose name you realize your vision. In doing so, you always review the necessary steps and ensure that they lead to success. Your organization, which in this case acts as a stakeholder, must therefore know you just as well as the Scrum Product Owner knows his customer. In this way, you make the best decisions and are available to your organization throughout the entire process to answer questions about the progress and success of the agile transformation.
Since the Certified Agile Coach must be familiar with many topics that also affect the Product Owner, you will have the necessary knowledge to be certified as a Product Owner after completing this training. For example, you will learn how to formulate your vision in a targeted manner, deal with requirements engineering and acquire a wide range of decision-making skills.
