The structure of the PRINCE2 Foundation training is based on the components of PRINCE2. There are four interrelated elements: basic principles, processes, topics and customization.

In the first step, we look at project management in general and get to know PRINCE2 with the four building blocks in overview. We look at the 7 basic principles, learn about the connection with the 7 topics and how the 7 processes flow into each other. This first big picture of PRINCE2 is the best prerequisite for then looking at all 7 processes and themes in detail. Successively, we go through all the processes, starting with the necessary activities for project preparation. Then we come to the relevant processes of project initiation, and after that we get to know the two processes in the project flow. Finally, we arrive at the last process for project closure. Topics that we deal with for the first time in the respective process are always dealt with immediately afterwards in order to better understand the interaction between processes and topics.
