Recently, more and more offers for ITIL® and PRINCE2® training courses have appeared on platforms such as Udemy or from providers such as D+J Academy. We would like to expressly point out that many of these offers are illegal.
These providers or platforms are not officially accredited training partners of PeopleCert. This means that
- The training courses offered are not permitted.
- It is not possible to acquire the mandatory examinations for ITIL® and PRINCE2® through these providers.
- Buyers and sellers of such offers violate trademark law because they use protected terms such as ITIL® and PRINCE2® without the necessary license. This can have legal consequences.
For example, a workout that is offered for €69 is legally and qualitatively on the same level as a supposed Louis Vuitton bag that you buy on the beach.
What should you look out for?
To ensure that you receive high-quality and officially recognized training, always book your ITIL® and PRINCE2® courses with an accredited training partner.
An official list of accredited training organizations (ATO) can be found directly on the PeopleCert website: www.peoplecert.org. Only rely on providers that are listed there - like us. This ensures not only the highest quality, but also the opportunity to take the official examinations.
