The ITIL Practitioner is a complex training for the application of methods and skills in the implementation of IT service management measures, projects, processes ... our trainer was able to convey this very competently, clearly and entertainingly, contributing many references from practice ... At no time was there any boredom (despite the fact that the material was not quite so "lively" in places). The seminar infrastructure is perfect and very pleasant - only the quality of the lunch food does not quite fit the other setup and the claim of Serview ... Overall, however, a professional training provider that I can recommend.

Again an optimal training - I learned a lot of new things despite 10 years of (more or less) intensive work with ITIL. Super trainer (as you would expect from B. Hinrichs) who, in addition to the material, also provided a lot of practical examples and fun, pleasant environment. The only downer was the exam: even though I haven't taken it yet, the sample exam gives me an idea of what to expect. But this has nothing to do with the training for me and lies in another area of responsibility.

I knew that the trainings at Serview are great. I did my ITIL v2 and my Service Manager there. Now I wanted to refresh my knowledge after more than 7 years and decided for the Kompakt. Top decision. First 3 days of ITIL Foundation - the theory and then the new Practitioner. And this one has it positively in itself. It was so much fun to finally learn how ITIL can and should be implemented in a company. All in all, a very successful and didactically perfect approach to knowledge transfer. The trainer Björn Hinrichs is beyond reproach. What I did not know in advance was that this WS requires at least 9 people for a meaningful simulation. In the document that I received in advance for the planning and implementation of the WS, it was stated that this WS is intended for a maximum of 12 people. However, Mr. Hinrichs then asked me again and said that at least 9 people are needed for a meaningful simulation of these workshops and that there were already groups in which, for example, 14 people were present. Unfortunately, we were only 7 people and thus had to divide 4 roles between two people. Therefore, the workload was unfortunately too high for these two people. We were able to reduce this internally by passing on tasks, but it was still noticeable. Otherwise, I found it very pleasant and also assume that we have mastered it quite well for our circumstances and also with the help of Mr. Hinrichs and Mr. Lausch.

ITIL outside of IT goes and the zero run through of this training was extra class. No PowerPoint but working through the workbook. The trainer was able to transport ITIL perfectly into the non-IT world and even the official exam, which also had a bit of IT in the questions, was easy to solve. I find SERVIEW's attempt to bring the ideas of ITIL into the "whole world" ingenious. The training is very well suited for this. Thank you for letting me be part of the first monad landing. PS. But after 5 days I can only say: Champions League. The 5 days and evenings were really intensive, but only in a positive sense. He responded to questions and also took time for any queries and explanations. The ITIL Foundation training from Serview in Bad Homburg is absolutely recommendable. Super trainers (we had two though, our trainer had to go to an emergency assignment to the customer on the last day). Both of them were very good, and it continued seamlessly. You are first trained well and then prepared for the exam at the end. The training environment is also great - in terms of organization, break times, catering, WLAN supply, etc. However, there is a lack of parking spaces! When I chose Serview, it was not because I had any special expectations compared to other providers. The course was simply close to where I live and at a good time. And reviews of Serview were good. On top of that, the course was offered in English. I was very positively surprised by the philosophy that training has to be fun, and that PowerPoint presentations are not as effective as the Serview Workbook. But philosophy is one thing. Practice is something completely different. But at Serview the philosophy is really lived. The course is fun, the trainer enjoys his work and is also very experienced, not only in training but also in the implementation of ITIL in practice. To everything a good supply and then the whole package is simply round. Next time, I will quickly decide in favor of Serview. Mr. Hinrichs conveyed the rather dry subject matter very lively and with tangible practical examples.The catering on site was again very good. I have only two comments/suggestions: 1) Group work: At the outset, the amount of group work was appropriate for the course. However, I would like to see somewhat more "challenging" assignments, i.e. not just reading through a few chapters together, then putting them on paper and then presenting them to the participants, but rather working out results together in a creative way (e.g. a business case for a specific case study). From my point of view, the main advantage would be that you still have something tangible that you could possibly apply directly in your daily business. For example, the group could think about the content, possibly create a kind of "management presentation" (on the flipchart) and then discuss together which points should perhaps still be considered, which not, etc. 2) Documentation: The documentation from Serview is generally always very good and contains what is necessary for the course and the subsequent application of the learned ITIL knowledge. However, in one or two places I noticed that a colored illustration of the flip chart in the workbook would have been very helpful - especially when the colors are used to delineate certain topics/task areas. Of course, I know that a color printout is much more expensive, but perhaps one would really only have to colorize individual pages - or one creates the distinction via the line type (bold, double, dashed, etc.). Otherwise, two charts were missing in the workbook for this training, which is of course only a small "blemish", but for the sake of completeness I wanted to address the point. I found the seminar excellent. I already know Mr. Hinrichs from the project he is in charge of at our company and was very pleased that we had him as a trainer. The seminar was informative and yet not too dry. A few jokes in between loosened up the atmosphere. Since there were only four of us in the seminar, we had a good learning atmosphere anyway. In conclusion, we all finished with respectable scores, which speaks for the good quality of the course. I was - once again - very satisfied with the course! Our trainer, Mr. Hinrichs, knows how to convey the material in a clear manner. He readily responds to questions from the participants, so that ambiguities can be cleared up. In part, real discussions arose (e.g. on the area of conflict between theory and practice), which in my view were very valuable for us as service managers. I don't see any immediate room for improvement in the course itself. However, for exam preparation, an expansion of the range of test exams would be helpful. I realized that choosing the right answer is a skill that needs to be practiced separately, i.e., even if you had memorized all the PowerPoint slides, that would not guarantee that you would pass the exam. In the exam, I always found it challenging to memorize the texts so that I could compare them, as well as identify the relevant points that mattered. This ability of identifying relevant points should also be trained because it is the bridge between theory and practice. I myself once learned presentation and lecture techniques in connection with my NLP master training, but above all teaching techniques, and applied them in seminars and would say simplified: Mr. Hinrichs managed to establish rapport with the group immediately and to steer the event in the direction he wanted. The metaphors he used (Giovanni's Pizzeria) were a great way to package the material in a way that was suitable for the brain. When intermediate questions came up, he didn't let himself be distracted from his red thread, but integrated them well into the overall course of events. I think that at the end of the event, every participant had a good understanding of what ITIL is. Another advantage was that there were no IT beginners in our group. The presentation material is well presented, many graphics support additional visual thinking. I also liked very much the absence of a projector!!! This is the only way I would do it - anything other than paper or blackboard I find tiring in the long run. To prepare the flipcharts still accordingly with cloze texts I will still take as a suggestion for myself.Doing without Power Points 12.09.2012

I had expected a seminar with dry and theoretical content. And although I had made an effort to participate myself, the ITIL V3 Foundation training was rather on my agenda as a compulsory event. Mr. Hinrichs' course turned the expected "duty" into a "freestyle": dispensing with Power Points and conveying the material with the help of vivid pictures and very well prepared flip charts brought the subject of service management much closer to me than I could have imagined beforehand; it aroused my interest. I would like to express my personal thanks to Mr. Hinrichs for this!...a real highlight 12.09.2012

Thank you very much for these 2 extremely positive, successful and successful seminars. Because I already knew before the seminar that the training and examination scope will be very large, I was of course extremely excited whether and how this all works. Since we had to complete a total of 3 exams yesterday and today, my dopamine level is still slightly elevated (according to Wikipedia, dopamine is an intermediate product [happiness hormone] in the biosynthesis of adrenaline ;-) Key-Issues of my 'Service-Evaluation': In Expert Inventiv Block 1, we were 'cared for' by a SERVIEW-adequate partner (Der Öschberghof) in a very pleasant ambience. The ServiewTeam in Bad Homburg orchestrated and implemented the organization for the exam preparation very sensitively and professionally with their attention and cordiality. The seminar participants together with the trainers became a real success team (fit for use & fit for purpose & fit for examination) - supported by a very well thought-out seminar concept we were able to '''focus''' on a few workbook pages instead of 1,142 core pages. Björn and Marcus with their exact sense for timing, quality, resilience, priorities and enthusiasm trained us reliably to our goal. Variety, fun while learning enriched with very many practical examples made the seminar for me personally a real highlight SERVIEW (and indeed ALL services and service assets) have shown me the realizable enthusiasm factors (cf. Kano model) of an ITIL seminar live and in color. Thanks to SERVIEW. Thanks to the mostly invisible but always 'tangible' helpers. Special thanks to Björn Hinrichs and Marcus Wagner, because only such dedicated trainers can create true enthusiasm.
