PeopleCert extends ITIL qualification path: ITIL v3 Foundation certification now qualifies for ITIL 4 training courses
Bad Homburg - PeopleCert, the official rights holder for ITIL certifications, announces that the ITIL v3 Foundation certification is now recognized as a prerequisite for participation in the advanced training courses and exams of the ITIL 4 qualification scheme. This change enables IT professionals who already hold an ITIL v3 Foundation certification to progress directly to the advanced ITIL 4 courses without having to take the ITIL 4 Foundation exam.
Through this adaptation, PeopleCert is responding to feedback from the IT community and the needs of professionals who want to keep their skills up to date and take full advantage of the ITIL 4 methodology. ITIL 4, known for its holistic approach to IT service management, builds on the best practices of ITIL v3 and extends them with additional perspectives, models and concepts.
