A very good two-day training course, but with very extensive content

Radu kept the training session very engaging, actively involved the participants, and responded very well to their needs and questions. We had actually planned an in-person training session but then switched to an online format. My impression was that there was too much content for a two-day online training session. The pace at which we covered the topics was appropriate at first, but on the second day, it became clear that we were running out of time. Overall, the content was excellent and the trainer was very good, but for an online training session, it might be better to spread the content over three days. I’m not sure if we would have managed the time better with an in-person training session.

Two comments:
The documents should be in color.
The material is far too much for two days. The training should be extended to three days.

I attended both the DevOps Fundamentals and the Leadership Training with Mr. Wagner for five days. It was a lot of material, but Mr. Wagner knew how to convey it skillfully and confidently in an interesting and funny way. You could tell that he has a very broad and in-depth knowledge of various disciplines. Thank you very much for the five days, it was very exciting and interesting!

I would like to commend Radu for the wonderful sessions we had for the past 2 days. Even though I am not completely new to DevOps, or the idea of DevOps, I was greatly refreshed with the fundamentals. Serview GmbH as the organizer is a really suitable environment for this course. The location is easy to reach, catering is constantly provided. So you can devote yourself fully to the subject. The trainer was enthusiastic, very eager and open-minded. An appropriate sense of humor and regular attention to the participants always brought momentum to the "gray" set of slides. Whether on-site or remote - I think everyone was able to learn quite a bit (also from each other) over the three days. The content of the seminar was tightly timed, but made sense all around. Afterwards and in between, there were always randomly devised questions for us participants to establish a little deeper understanding, and thus also be prepared for the associated exam. Full success!
The only comment: It would be great if the handout of the DevOps Leadership Seminar would be structured exactly like the workbook of the DevOps Fundamentals training in the future. That is a real eye-catcher!

Hello!
I am very satisfied with the DevOps Compact training overall. Especially the fundamentals part was equipped with the usual excellent material in the form of the Serview workbook and the broad experience of the trainer enriched the theoretical part with some practical examples.
Unfortunately, at the time of the training, only the accompanying material from PeopleCert.Org was available for the leadership part, which I personally consider an imposition. In addition to the shortcomings of the presentation (slides and handout), the preparation of the information is not comparable to the material in the Fundamentals workbook. Hopefully the Serview workbook will be released soon for the Leadership course.
I would have two more suggestions from my history in "both camps" Dev & Ops:
- Set up the Compact course as a standalone course and "lighten" the Leadership part by the repetitions from Fundamentals. Maybe this will allow for an on-site exam again
- A continuous example, e.g. for the further development of an existing IT service or a fancy iPhone app, could provide an additional thread in my opinion.

Our coach Radu has conveyed an enormous amount of material understandably in 2 days. He also used many practical examples. This gave me better access and a deeper understanding of the very broad range of DevOps topics. The training materials are good. Effective learning is possible with it. Overall, a good and comprehensive training . However, I would have liked more time for reflection and customer-specific topics.
