Certified Agile Coach

To lead people in your organization competently and inspire them in the long term, you need more than theoretical knowledge. In this intensive five-day Certified Agile Coach training course, you will therefore be immersed in practical work right from the start. You will immediately begin your journey to becoming an Agile Coach and work continuously on real issues from everyday agile organizational life.
To participate, you must have at least one of the following certifications: Agile Foundation, Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe® 5 Agilist, or ICO Scrum Foundation.

Over the course of five training days, you will gain practical experience in how to provide targeted support to teams, remove obstacles, and confidently deal with interfaces to non-agile areas. You will learn how to achieve transformational leadership, how to get people on board with change processes, and how to effectively embed agility in your organization.

During the training, you will develop sound skills in the areas of coaching, solution-oriented conflict resolution, and facilitation. You will develop the ability to act confidently and effectively in an agile environment and to provide targeted support to both teams and organizations. The focus is always on practical application in the context of agile transformations.

Together, you will work on key issues from everyday organizational life:

• What to do when a team is not working together effectively?
• How do you deal with complex, dynamic situations?
• What particular challenges arise in middle management?
• How do you establish an open, constructive feedback culture?

You will explore these topics not theoretically, but through interactive exercises, group discussions, simulations, and practical case studies, which will be continuously expanded upon over the course of all five days.

As the training progresses, the focus shifts to agile coaching itself. Building on the foundation you have laid, you will develop your own personal, tried-and-tested toolkit for your daily work as an agile coach. You will learn how to empower people to help themselves, how to use reflection and delegation techniques in a targeted manner, and how to effectively combine empathy, decision-making skills, and transformation competence.

In challenging simulations and team tasks, you will experience firsthand what professional agile coaching means. You will internalize key hard and soft skills that will enable you to inspire organizations to adopt an agile mindset and confidently guide them through transformation processes.

As a Certified Agile Coach, you are more than just a consultant:
You are a mentor, trainer, and coach all at once.
You empower people to live an agile mindset in their everyday lives and inspire organizations to actively embrace change.

After successfully completing the five-day training course and the associated exam, you will receive Certified Agile Coach certification —the logical conclusion to your training and the foundation for your effective work as an Agile Coach in practice.

You complete each module of the Agile Coach training with an official ICO certification exam. To participate in the training and the subsequent online exam, you need one of the following certifications:
